wheel spacers

I just bought some wheel spacers for 400ex i was wondering if there is a trick to get the stock studs off or if you just pound it with a hammer and info would be great ive never done this before.

I would put the nuts back on flush with the end of the stud and put a block of wood on it so you don't mess up the threads, but yeah then just get a big hammer and hit it.:D
