300ex?

Alright, so when my bike sells i might
1. Get a 125
2. Use all the money and put it into the blaster
3. Get a 300ex and mod it out over time

my question is do these 300ex's suck stock and do they have any potential?

id look for a used 250f or a 400ex, 300's are alright, but you MUST change the suspension and do motor work before you even consider riding it with your buddies you might have 400's or 450's

depends what you want to do with it. i have one and it has been great and honestly mine is stock and i don't think it sucks, and i have ridden several other quads. it may not be the fastest but it still is quick for what it is.

I had a stock 300ex, I could keep up with my friends on thier predators, and z-400. But I was always on the edge of being in control, and I was almost always looking for some more power. Especialy on hills. But I did like the handling, and how low to the ground it was. With some wider a arms, axels, and shocks it would be great. Not to mention it is just a bullet proof motor.

You can get a used 400ex for the same price or a tad bit more. A lot more potential for that. They are both really great machines but if you can find a good deal on a 400 i'd go for it instead.

around here a used 400 ex is almost 1000$ more than a used 300
