the screws on the carb which is which and what does what. I have not touched them I IS SCARED. Althou I put a better foam filter on which caused my power to drop low end on top it is fine. is ther A screw to turn to componsate. Till I can cokes the wife to come off more of our money Also repair manuals is ther difernt ones and what one do you recamend:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

My advice? Learn the fundamentals about carburator operation and tuning first. When you only have select pieces of the big picture you may never be able to really get things right.

Try carburator guides such as these to get the basics down and then go from there.

Note that the last one is geared towards two-strokes but most things are the same. Air screw (for 2-strokes) versus fuel screw (for 4 strokes) is really the biggest difference.

As far as repair manuals, I strongly prefer the OEM Honda manuals. OEM service manuals can be purchased through RockyMountainATV (http://www.rockymountainatv.com/) in the Tools/Shop section.
