400ex clutch problem

hi guys im new here and im having a real problem with my ex. the clutch is real hard to pull in so i put a new clutch in and in the process i noticed that the lifter arm inside of the clucthc case had some scoring on it and it looked like the clutch case was damaged interally. so i replaced it put it all back togeter and changed out the clutch cable. BUT ITS STILL HARD TO PULL IN! i dont know what to look for now. the only thing that i can think of is that the clutch cable is routed wrong. my buddys 400ex's cable is routed differetnly and his is very easy to pull in. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

loosen up ure cable a bit and give it some play.. that will help u

id try re-routing the cable, avoiding as many bends and hot surfaces as possible..


i dont recall you writing about an EZ-pull clutch lever/perch.. you might give that a try..
