does any one run an 89 swing arm on a 87-86 R? i just made the swap fron a +3 arm(86 lenghened) to a stock 89' arm. that means that i will be 4 inches shorter from where i was. will it work well on the track? i will mostly be running on a tight sx track and running arena cross and i think it would be good but i wanna hear some opinions.

yea i have it on my R its works great
That's the length most people use and what I will be using. But I will probably get +1 forward A-arms.
Yea, quad041 what plastic do you have on your R, and how is the Arens frame?
I still haven't decided on which frame but have narrowed it down. Just taking my time.

but thats cause a lot of racing frames use 88-89 frame geometry, not 86. the 88-89 frame is supposed to be an inch longer and the swingarm an inch shorter then the 87-86 frame. i compared frames and they look same length to me but what do I know.:blah
