Can i put 450r shocks on my 400ex with stock a-arms because i know where i can get them revalved.

you have to grind away at the shock some because of the nut that holds the plastic on, but I love it.

if i get after market 400ex a-arms will i still be alright with the 450r shocks? and does front and back fit? sorry guys im kinda clueless when it comes to this.

a guy on atv connection has a blue 400ex with a 450r rear shock on it.

I put stock 450r shocks on my 400, a little better than stock. Then I bought a pair of Elkas, triple rate, compression adj, WOW what a difference.
I was mad I spent money for the 450 shocks.-Sold them

alot of people on this site sid a while ago that the rear shock was too short eye to eye.:confused:

The 450R rear shock is shorter than the 400ex rear and is a definite No-No. The fronts aren't the greatest setup but you can get by with them if your on a budget. The rear definitely dont do!
