My friend has bid on a 450R stock carb for his 450 thinking that was a FCR then he want to sell it to me.

Do you think that I will see a gain on a 400ex with this mods :

Uni Filter
Open Box
Yosh Slipon
+6 Advanced Timing

Or I need bigger mods to have a gain??

a carb will give you a gain any time, i would say go for it if the price is right. but you will also need the 450 throttle cable and fuel line to make the swap.
