I just removed my air box lid and adjusted the jetting on my 06 but i run xc and am kind of worried about getting water in my air box. Is this a big prob? If so any easy fixes?

a few options that i can think of: ehs lid, runs open top with an outerwears cover - looks nice runs about $90 http://www.ehsracing.com. Pro-tec has a similar one for $85 - http://pro-tec.us . Or you can go with the outerwears cover for about $30, but i hear you may have to mod your box a bit to get it to fit good. all these will keep water from gettin in

It seems to me that the after market is pricey. If you go to you local auto parts store or hard ware store you can find foam or an in exspensive air filter that will fit the factory lid. cut out a section and fasten down with some screws . I plan on taking foam and cutting out the back raised area of lid and screwind down with exspaded aluminum for rigidness it seem that all the after market are exactly that you can keep price below $10.00 pull lid off spray off and treat like air filter
