hmf slipon vs a big gun full pipe

i can get a brand new hmf slip on for $$$ 260 with a filter and jeting

or i can get

a used big gun full system with jeting and nerfs for
$$ 270

what pipe will give me more power over all ?

which pipe is louder ?

definatly go with the big gun cuz the stock header on those 400's restrict so much air.

the only problem with the big gun is that im going to have to run a open air box becuase the guy had a open air box and he is giving me the jets that he used with it i was thinking of geting a K&N with a outerwear or could i get a uni or white bros and put a outerwear on it ?

i have a aluminum airbox with lid opened at both ends, it still has the lid on it, with k&n filter, full biggun exhaust, i use a dynojet kit with the #170 main jet and the air screw 3 1/2 turns out. i will have to check the needle setting, not sure what i set it at.

Jets are cheap. If you want to keep your airbox lid just buy a smaller jet. They're like $5.

the other problem with the jetting is that the jets for the other guys bike worked for his but could be totally wrong for yours even if you have the same mods.you gotta jet your bike to what it wants not what the next guy is useing.
