I'm looking to put a new clutch kit in my 1999 honda 400ex. What is the best kit to get for not a crazy price? I'm not a racer and don't need anything really expensive. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not racing and no motor mods, stock... But I personally like my Dirt Digger clutch. It's not to bad of a price and very strong.

I would check out rockymountainatv.com they have a tusk clutch kit for like 30 or 40 bucks, and they have an ebc clutch kit that isn't to much more. rockymountain has a set fee for shipping of 7 dollars anything below 99 dollars. anything above shipping is free.

No offense, but I did purchase an EBC Clutch kit with a mildly built 400ex motor at the time. It slipped a little almost from day one. In six months, I was replacing it again. You would get up to 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears and it would begin to surge where the clutch just wasn't strong enough. It may have been a fluke of a bad clutch though. I dunno...
