I'm planning on rebuilding my 440EX soon and was wondering if i should just get a new sleeve,piston ect. or if there was anything more, also im not doing this because theres a problem, but because its been about 4 years since it was built up.

They do make an 89.5 mm piston. So, if the cylinder isn't scarred up that bad you should be able to hone it out and up the size a pinch.

Sorry about that, friend of mine sent my last reply before I finished it. I say check the valves when you tear it down. If the lip of the valves do not have a double angle to them and are flat or smooth in anyway, then yeah, replace them. Otherwise, don't worry about them.
