Jetting?

I have a 1999 400ex Big Gun race slip on, K&N filter, outer wear, WB rev kit, no air box lid and additional holes in the air box.. I went from the stock jet 148 to a 170 does this sound right?? The local dealer said no way!

I also have a dyno jet kit with the new needle and all that deal and the insert for the main jet

i have almost the same thing, except no wb rev box, terry from marcums told me to just put a 165 main jet only, save the money from the kit; stock needle setting and pilot jet; runs good, im at sea level here, if your bike doesnt miss at 170, then leave it alone, if it does at wot, then start dropping main down.

i have a pipe, filter and open airbox and i'm running a 170 mj, and dyno jet needle and i really don't think it could run any better then what i does now
