View Full Version : 450R carburators, different carbs for diff years?

Are the carbs the same on the different year TRX450Rs? If they're different, which years had which carbs?

I'm asking cause I'm thinking of buying one to put on my 416ex and I'd like to know if it matters what year 450R I get it from.

06 has a crf carb

Hmmmm. So prior to 06' they weren't FCRs?

04-05 were keihin carbs similar in design to the 400ex carbs. however, the 450r ones are 42mm. in 06 they put on FCR carbs. they are different from the CRF450r FCR carbs, but both are 40mm.
