gonna be purchasing another quad in a couple of weeks and i went to the dealership to sit on the honda and yami 450's

well they didn't have a honda so all i could sit on was the yamaha which i gotta say i liked alot, except for the bars felt really really low to me. i'm only 5'9'' so i wouldn't think i'm to big for this machine

any one else noticed this?

wit until you sit on the honda...the yfz seat is like sitting on a rock. i am 5'5 and the bars on the honda were too high or far away for me, so i rotated them back a little. it was much better that way...the yfz was too uncomfortable for me

Try all the quad you think you can buy and try to ride it first too, they are all competitive and is the taste of yourself what defines everything. (the bars can be changed easily BTW)

yea i think with a +1 stem and maybe a set of risers and new bars it would be cool

i think i will just sit on the honda before i make my decision

they both seem so neck and neck with performance. it may come down to which one is more comfortable

yah, they fixed the rock hard seat on the 06 model though

ive sat on a yfz and it didnt feel too small for me, it did feel smaller and lower then my 400, and the 450r, but it wasnt TOO small
