Have you ever thought of shifting in the air?? I can shift from 1st all the way up to 4th and still hold my wheelie treat the rpms just as yu were on the ground!!

You can go up one size larger on your rear sprocket and wont lose any low end

Do you want a different gear just to do wheelies better?

If thats the case you don't need different gearing, just start your wheelie out in 2nd, or heck pop the clutch and pull up the front end in 3rd.

Pretty soon ill be getting my 14t front sprocket and ill find out how hard it is to wheelie.
I have no problem keeping the end up in the air, it just seems like I have to rev. real high to keep it up.
Should i shift?

On My 250x I Just Start Out My Wheelie In 2nd (give it gas & a tug on the bars) & when i want to come down i hit the rear brake or shift into 3rd & it comes down slower ;) 3rd gear can be a cool looooooong wheelie on the 250x... pop the clutch & pull hard.... but everytime i get it up in 3rd though I tend to be going farely fast & end up hitting the grab bar .... lol :p (I have a 14t sprocket with 20" tires)
