y doesent my 400ex have a strong pull?

its like it has power but i dont feel any pull when i ride it is it just me or is there something i can do to make it have it like a 500fst kit?

i dont know if it is? should i start by replacing that?

i mean it spinns the tires in dirt and doesnt feel like its slipping its just like i dont feel any pull but it has a sh8t load of power.

i think i know what your talking about my ex when im riding it, it accelerates pretty quick but i dont feel any pull in the upper gears like 4th and 5th. hopefully once i get my stroker cam in it will change. what gearing do you have? could just gear it lower.

You need to check your jetting.You should have a 42 pilot and 155 main with a pipe and lid mods.The cam you are running is too big for that bore size.Ditch it and install a stocker or a stage 1.The engine doesnt need that much lift and u r killing it with that cam.stage 2 is really only needed for 426 applications and larger.

i think what hes trying to say is that his quad has so much low end pull that hes just spinning the halibit out of the wheels when hes on the gas.

if so invest in someaftermarket tires, or change your gear ratio. just imo

mine did the same thing i used to go out and ride it every day....then it didnt feel like it pulled at all

Its just becasue your used to the power of ur bike dont ride it for mayb a week or two Then ride it and you will think ur on the meanest 400 around...

I'm thinking maybe some tires to help you hook up! JMO, I dunno what it is, but tires sure would probably help.
