will a lone star 250r axle work on a 400ex Ive heard from a few people that they will so i figured I would ask

A lonestar axle from a 250r should fit on the 400ex without too much trouble. A buddy of mine put a 400ex lonestar axle on his 450r and it fit fine.

From what my friend Chris who just got rid of his 250r and got a yfz450 this last year, no.... It will not work. He said he tried it and the diameter of the axle and the carrier were different...

Yes it will work fine. I have one on a 400 right now. You'll just need the 250r rear hubs.
