Depends on what class you are running, I know Echecconnee gets rutted out EXTREMELY bad.

Im a small guy and I ran my extended arms and axle for about 4 months or so on my stock shocks. I never bottomed them out. I only weigh about 130-140ish with gear though.

So if your a small guy you'll be fine. If your a bit bigger i'd try not to run them that way too long. Also make sure your ride height is set high enough for all the rutts.

Otherwise you should be all set.

I don't know if you've ever been to Macon to race before. If not take at least 2 spare air filters. I would change 1 after practice and after each moto. There is no good way to clean the sand out of them. They're alot cheaper than the motor repairs if you suck the sand in.
Macon is one of the best tracks around IMO.
Becareful on those stock shocks....the track will get really rough and you're going to work that rear end set up. Good luck and enjoy your self.

it'll be fine, as long as your a good enough rider, you should be all set. just remember, you're on the HONDA, not the SUZUKI, it wont break

I was wonderin the same thing about my setup. I have LSR +2's with stock shocks. I only way 165 with my gear on. My shocks arent as stiff as they can go and it feels like there wont be any problem.

I would recommend the GT Thunder linkage. That stock rear-end is gonna be harsh at Macon (and anywhere else).

It was for trick250r's post. I ride a zuki! And have never had one mechanical problem BTW. Not trying to start anything, people have opinions.

Have fun and rip it!!! Don't worry about your set up. You will do fine. Too many people convince themselves that they have to have this and that when they really never mastered riding a basic atv. Once you have done that, think of how fast you will be once you throw down on some goodies. Good luck and if you bring home some plastic, post some pics!
