i am wanting to do all 3 shocks with GTT, but its too much to spend at once and the wife will kill me. so...
if i buy the rear link now, and have the shocks done later, will it do anything for me now?

yo need to have the rear shock revalved for the link to use it, that is only 250 or so to start out with, the rest is primarily having the fronts resprung and revalved, you could do that later, but you will notice that the rear is working better than the fronts

if i get the rear done now with the link, does it need to be resprung? or is the stock spring good?

the stock rear spring can be reused in some applications depending on what you want out of the bike along with your weight, etc. that is with the gt thunder build anyways.....

it most likely will be resprung, the stock spring is decent on some builds as cals said, but you most likely will get a new spring, i would go ahead and just get the rear setup with his long travel link and do the fronts later

i have heard about that link that will work with the 06 stock shock. i have been unable to contact laz about this linkage. are there 2 different links? one for stock valving and one linkage for a revalved stock shock.

i talked to legacy atv today they sell gt thunder rebuilds but they do triple rate springs on the front and didnt know anything about the mx link that didnt need revalve.

i have a 06 450r with 04 450r front shocks with the single spring gt thunder rebuilds. i cant find out if i need the link or need to send the rear shock in.

i hope your didnt order direct through laz :eek2: :eek2: hes really expensive. I know a dealer that can save you around $100 if you order the gtthund shocks through him, i just had www.aggressivepowersports.com do mine. these shocks are awesome though http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid202/pac8bcc82f15f6156cf2056db98caa0ff/eff4a538.jpg
