this is what it says about it on there site....

*The iCat is a small electronic device that is inserted between the coil and spark plug. The iCat is not a simple capacitor that shortens the spark duration, but electronically alters the pulse from the coil, and as a result produces longer, more powerful spark.

*Increases throttle response and torque under load.

*Gives a cleaner more efficient burn and increases miles per gallon while reducing emissions.

and in the magazine i think i remember it saying that it will help fix your jetting if it was off a little bit...

Keep us posted for sure

I was looking at these earlier too. i guess they really make a difference on the smaller bikes like the 125s and 250s and 50s. It'll be interesting to see what it does on a 400.

Looks like an expensive version of the Roost Boost that somebody used to make.

you should go on their website and read the reviews this thing gets. Someone did actually thing this thing was gonna be a total joke and after trying it they said it was nothing like the "roost boost" because it actually works.

Probably just a mental gain. Put it on a dyno.

Someone on .org ordered one for his 450R with the intent of having it dyno'd and sharing the results..

Unfortunatly a handful of people gave him crap for even thinking it would work, so I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't want to share the results.

Have you put it on your bike yet?

I heard in a bike magazine(MXA) that it makes up for slightly off jetting and gives a mild increase in throttle response. I hope it's not like the roost boost. I bought a 300ex a while back with one on and I had to take it off because it couldnt even look at water.

i also read about this "instrument" in QUAD magazine and it made me wonder also about whether or not it would actually work. QUAD had good things to say about it, and gave it 5 stars after using it on there project 450r. They said it increased throttle response, power and ease of starting on cold and hot starts. If it actually works on this guys quad that is buying it in this thread, i may just have to order one up..

KEEP US POSTED!!!

Someone I know with an 04RM125 said his plugs cost like over $30, but he doesn't foul them nearly as often as any other 2-stroke.
