what is a key?

i hear people talking about mods and they have for example"a sparks advanced key" what is this and how hard to install:confused:

i think its a different flywheel key that changes the advance of the ignition spark

do a search under sparks advance and you should find a lot of information on it.

It is a new woodruff key which is a really small half-moon shaped piece of metal. It relplaces the old woodruff key and it advancing the engines timing by six degrees. In other words it waits six degrees long for the spark plug to fire. I think. Hope I could help
