I was just wondering if there was anything internally that i can do for performance without sacrificing reliabilty that would help out the engine? IM putting in a JE 13:1 piston and getting the head port and polished. Is there anything like different valve springs or an angle job on the valves?... these are just examples... is there anything better out there??
thanks

you can do the clutch mod from this site
www.rockinhorseweb.com

i'm going to modify mine in a week or two.
looks like a cheap way to improve your clutch longevity and performance!! it's not often that those to words go together.
lol.

i don't think many builders out there want to give there internal engine secrets out over the net.:ermm:

JE 13.1 piston, HRC Cam or HC, Stock Bore, Stock Stroke, Stock Valves, Stock Springs, DRG porting, Precision/DRG Filter, DRG Carb, Rossier or DASA Pipe and you will get 54hp.

You could do bigger valves if you wanted to but with all listed above and getting that power that is the Most reliable High Hp 450 there is:D If you looking for Reliability then that is the setup.

replace your cam chain if you have had the quad for a while.
Have your valve springs replaced
Get new cam tower bolts if you have been in the motor a few times ( they are about 2 bucks a piece )
