i heard that the 440 kit has had problems but thats what i hear jw who has thisdone and if the noticed a BIG diff from stock to 416 or 440.

as long as you do maintence and use quality parts you shouldn't have a problem with either one. I would do a 416 but the 440 also runs well.

Personally I think the 440 is a little to sluggish feeling in other words it just doesn't rev fast enough. Where the 416 will go through the powerband a lot faster but the 440 will get hotter faster due to the thin cyl. walls. JMHO

I know that isn't a problem with mine. Maybe it was the carb on the bike that you rode? I hear that they ARE kinda sluggish with a stock carb.
