Has anyone here ever tried attaching a 400ex swingarm to a 300 ex? I have a stock 400EX swingarm and a 300EX that needs to be longer.

Thanks

if you get the hole rear end out of a 250r it will fit, or even a 350x

I bought my 300 used with the modification already made to it. It looks like they cut the section off just behind the shock mount and added a two inch section and welded it back together. The mod looks very clean, and I have had no problems for the 5 years I have had it. It is a very noticeable difference riding a stock length swing arm and going to the +2"... It really helps keep the nose down!:) As well as being less bouncy in the whoops section.

hmm...... I wish I could find someone to do that, I'd have mine lengthened +1, Did it have a new shock on the back or just the stocker?

Stocker rear:) And I have no reason to change it.... For now anyway:) I find the rear stock shock on the 300ex to work great for me.
