How much does a 350x engine into a 250x frame actually have

after you open it up some with a pipe and everything, the power is compareable to the 400 ex (about the same difference between the 250x and 300ex). if you can find a motor i would definetly do it, after you get bored of the power you can always bore it out more. ive seen bore kits for that motor go up to 500cc :eek2: so yeah you'll never be short of power.

I was planing on just buying a ATC 350x complete and stick the engine in there and the swingarm too. I would probly bore it out to 393 with an HMF exhaust and a UNI air filter with a 400ex carb.
Would i see a noticeable differnce. Would i be able to keep up with the 400ex on a track?

power wise yes, but you will probably need to get an extended axle and a arms to handle the power/ help keep control! this sounds like a pretty kickass project! post up pics if you get around to doing this!
