What are the dimentions of the bracket? Dose it just make the shock mount 3 inches higher but still the same distance from mount to mount? I may have found a 400ex front end realy cheap so we were going to make a bracket.

Is it worth all the work of swaping the whole front end to get the extra 2 inches in width or would it be just as good to just swap the shocks?

Not sure what the dimensions are since I bought mine off ebay. It pushes the upper shocks mounts about 1-2 inches from stock and of course a couple inches taller. I thought I read something about the stock 400ex shock travel being wrong for the 300ex w/ stock a arms. I think the 300ex a arms might bottom out before the 400ex shocks. Not posititve on that though. aftermarket 400ex shacks can be set up for the conversion though. The whole 400ex front end is a gamble some like it and some don't. Personally I didn't. The 2 inches of width helped the quad feel more stable but I didn't like the way the steering acted at higher speeds. I also noticed a big loss in turning radius.
