I know this is kind of a dumb questoin, but where is the air/fuel screw located? Is it difficult to get to when the carb is mounted on the bike? Thanks in advance!!

Oh and do you have to use FCR jets?

I have an adjustable CRF screw but the pic gives you an idea of where it is under the carb. Yes, you need a special tool, motionpro makes one.

I would highly recommend getting a screw like Tripyn has, or one like it. I have the Zip-Ty one. Search for "fcr screw" on Ebay and you should be able to find some different ones. I like the Zip-Ty one because it has numbered indicators.

The aftermarket fuel screw will make your life much easier and you need to use Keihin jets

Would this part be acceptable?

Link isn't working. It's a CNC'd Billet aluminum Fuel Mixture Screw. They say in the auction that it fits the 2006 450R. Seems like it will work fine.
