How many of you guys call out sick from work when you just want to go out and play:D Do any of you guys get nervous when you call out like that even when you have the days to take?

i have done it twice at my old job, where i work now my boss is pretty understanding, ecspecially when i want to go riding. i have called off once where i work now just to go riding with my buddies, but i work at an ATV shop so my boss is cool with letting me off to do stuff like that.

I used to stay home from school to ride my dirtbike all the time, and my parents knew it, because somehow I was sick from spring to the end of the semester. I noticed that the less you take sick days, the easier it is to stay home when you really need to.

Isn't it calling in sick? :blah:
I worked with a guy that used every excuse in the book,
he started running out of excuses, then 1 day he called in and said he broke out in hives because he was allergic to salt, we never let him live that one down, Some guy would carry a salt shaker around and start chasing him with it when he seen him.

I hardly ever call in sick because we are so understaffed that if you call in you screw everybody else.

I could say this for the past 10 years of my work career....except for a couple months ago. I woke up one morning (4am) and could not leave the bathroom puking my guts out. I ended up going to the hospital to be treated and got an IV. So I guess for the first time in 10 years it was a ok. :D
