Does anyone here actually have their kids riding the Cobra Quads?

No, but I watched them run at the ATV Expo in Louisville. And they rip, the power to weight ratio is equal to a banshee I believe.

Yeah, they're very fast, I wish Cobra made a 450 quad that thing would fly.

there have been several of them running the arenacross series over the winter. they pull the holeshots every time too. very fast little machines. and the things are so loud youd swear its a 250R

there are lots of people running cobras at the nats theres a class designed basicly for the called the 70 shifter.

I saw one that had been raced at the Unadilla GNC this past year. From what I heard they were having problems keeping it together.The Arens frame had broke a few times and the spindle setup, even though unique had alot of excessive play.I would expect more out of a $8000 quad.

no remeber it turned out to be a blaster with the maier race plastic but it did look like one from far away.

those little quads are $8000??? wow i had nooo idea. a buddy of mine's nephew rides a cobra dirt bike... like the smallest class for mx on it.. those things rip.. the only cobra quad ive seen is the one on Heuvos8

I saw one at the e-town race and those things f-ing fly. It murdered trx90s and all the other minis.

I think that was a kid named Bren Marra and he has continued his winning ways by winning the 1st two 2006 GNC Nationals GNC 90 Sr (http://www.atvaonline.com/race/results/atvanarres.asp?s=9&cls=525&year=2006)

He raced a Cobra 70 last year and that thing ripped.

There are at least two guys in District 6 with the new 50's too.

cobra 50 with the 90 kit rips, my buddy has one and another has one too we race them in the shop and around outside. Pretty funny seeing 200#+ guys riding them around

msrp is $8,000 on the 70cc Cobra and yes, they are not holding up very well . everyone i have talked to in person cusses them, sucks too because it is an insane mini!

just seen in mags and dvd's... hopefully they will be better quality with in a few years when my nepew gets a lil older.

At the GNC at Glen Helen there more cobras then anything else it seemed. They were everywhere. They dont necessarily win every race either. Remember someone has to ride it too.

that was taken at the harrisburg farm show race, it has the Generation X ATV carbon fiber products on it.

That kid's fast as hell. I think he was even lapping kids.:eek2:
