what is some thing that adds alot of power for $250
other than a pipe

do you run the stock carb? Many folks have put a 38mm pwk A/S keihin carb on their machine and they say that really opens up the power.

they are around 189.95 on ebay everyday. Then you would have to rejet and change the needle for the machine.


hope this helps. Also the reeds have a lot to do with snappy throttle response.

I would suggest another carb, the 38mm A/S carb is an excellent carb choice. Another great choice for $250 would be to port/polish your cylinder for the style of riding you do. Remember though to match this porting with your pipe.
