hey i was at this shop and this guy said something about a eltric superchager on a quad he said as long as the quad has a battery it should work i think he is talking about this what do u think

Link doesn't work, and there have been posts about this before. Try a search, I can't remember what forum. I think the overall opinion was, nice, but not suitable for all/many purposes.

i thought of doing something like that as a joke. there was a computer fan laying around in my class today and i thought about jacking it and throwin it in my 300 for ****s and giggles.

i thought the guy at the shop was full of bs it is only a 100 bucks thow and if it only add 5 hp it wold be worth it could it work if modded

Not only that, it won't work on your quad.

In order for your carburetor to work, the float bowl must be at a higher pressure than your intake. Ordinarily, your piston travels downwards and creates a vacuum within your intake. That vacuum, combined with a phenomenon called the Venturi Effect, drops the pressure in your intake and causes fuel to push from your float bowl UPWARDS into your intake.

If your intake is pressurized, you won't get any fuel. Instead, you'll be pushing air down into your float bowl, just like blowing bubbles in your chocolate milk.
