JE is a great piston. if cheap is a main concern, Pro-X is good stuff at a good price. Wiseco is decent, but for the price i would get a JE.
Where are you located at? a reputable machine shop could easily handle the work but a local ATV shop or dealer could either bore it themselves or recomend a good place to have the work done.

that is a good deal for a JE. Comp ratio is up to you but remember, if you go with the 12:1 you will need to run Race fuel. if you want to run pump gas, go with the 10.8:1

you will see a pretty good difference, ecspecially if you get teh cam too. a cam and piston always work well together. i have not heard much about the magnum cams, but what i have heard has been good. they seem pretty good for the price.

But then the problem is you have no more bores left on your cylinder if you wanna rebuild it cheap again. 426 will run better, but the cylinder is used up afterward.

lol the cylinder is not used up.....you have more room.....and the next bore size from the 416 is the 426.....you cant bore to the same size that you have ...lol you can go to the 440 but have more problems.....but a 426 is the best that i think you can go with....lol no more room lol

If you go over stock compression, you may want to install a 12mm stud kit. You can always take the studs out and use them in another cyl. just my opinion .
