getting water in my intake??? 300EX

I have a 2002 300EX. Every time I fly through water or even just go through deeper water the engine will bog out. even 10-15 later. It almost seems like water IS causing this problem. I am going to pull the airbox off, clean and reseal everything. If there is anything else anyone can think that is causing this please let me know.

Electrical connections don't like water. One thing that helps a lot is to pull apart ALL the electrical connections on the quad and put some dielectric grease in them, then put them back together. Including inside the sparkplug boot. You'll be amazed at the improvement.

You can get it at any hardware or automotive store. A small tube is about $1.29.

I don this every winter to mine. Same thing applies to the 400s.
