A brand new quad for that cheap is a good deal to me, never been riddin on, youd be sure it was never beat on, brand new is the way to go.

i think its worth it. especialy if you plan on modding it. parts for that bike are soo cheap, that by the time you've decked the whole thing out you probably wont end up spending more than $7,000

i'm a huge blaster fan, and i dont think its worth quite that. 3300 if you really want it, i got my 03 for 2900, but i knew the dealer. 3100 isa reasonalbe offer unless that dealer sells the crap out of them and knows he can move it for more

you can get ALOT of power out of a blaster! They are EASY to work on.... LILQJ will be getting one here soon.. :D

I think that price is very comparable

Blasters are fun, I wouldn't mind picking on up just to mess around with and "for my wife to ride on." :D

I would look around though, you can usually get pretty good deals on used ones. Make sure you get an '03 or newer though. They have hydraulic brakes all the way around.

For that price, you can get a pretty decent 250r.

QJ I hope you let her try it out first before you buy it... I think that they are too small for many people. I only know 1 person who rides one and I think he's too big for it and he's pretty short (5'2" I think). I'm 6'1" and I can't fit on the thing. I like the bike for kids or people who fit on them, but it's a small bike, with horrible suspsension.

I think they are a great bike, and fun! They have a TON of potential if you build them right. They have a fun motor, a ton of aftermarket parts, and they are easy to work on. Plus, you can pick them up used for around $1500. I'm planning on getting one in a month or so.

There are parts available for Blasters to make them a lot more user friendly for taller riders. I'm 5'10 and had no problems riding a blaster.

Look into Rox adjustable risers, they do wonders!

If you are going to get into the motor modificaitions, there are some great companies out there. I personally bought a 240 kit from HWD, and was completly amazed with the power. But they are out of business now, so...

The 240 kit ported and polished felt like once you hit the throttal, you were flying. Of coarse I couldnt get its full potential because of I had a stock carb and stock pipe.

The Blaster is still the machine I go exploring with, rev it high, and abuse it and it is still in perfect shape. Unless I get beat, I pull out my beast. My 450 though, I dont want to abuse it or iam afreaid it will kill me :(

Isn't MSRP like $3,200? I would never buy it for more than that. You should be able to get it for less that 3 grand.
