Got a truck!!!

well my dad came home and surprised me with a truck, since my 16th birthday is in 3 weeks for so. its a 1993 s10 5 speed, with is 4.3L v6 in it. its in great shape and the body has no rust. its got a bed liner and a leather bed cover. i didnt think i could drive the 5 speed but its the same as my 400, i had it down pat in about 10 mins. heres a few pics i snapped, but since it dark out the quality sucks. ill get more tomorrow:chinese:

nice truck. Driving a manual takes a little adjusting, but i drove my buddie's 4 speed explorer and its a lot of fun. Ill stick to my automatic though :devil: Just dont get too crazy driving, ive scared myself a couple times.

Nice looking truck man, it seems to be in excellent shape. Might I suggest a 2/3 drop? It made my s10 handle so much better and not to mention the looks.

nice brings back some old memories had a truck similar to that cept mine was auto and extend cab, it had over 260k and never missed a beat sure mine had some rusted out fender flares but it got me where i needed to go, nice truck to start out on i would recommend putting a transmission cooler on that i think thats what got me up to 260k

i pulled my moms car out and put mine in the garage so i could get a good look at it. its a 2wd truck but runs pretty good. im not sure if im going to lower it or raise it, but for now jsut small things. first off it needs a cd player and some new gauges. gauges in it now are just old looking. we gave 2750 for it and i think its worth every penny!

since it's 2wd I say lower it, not much of a point in lifting a 2wd. I dunno if you posted and I missed, but how much did it run ya if you dont mind?

Nice truck! the wheel wells have surface rust, Grab some expoxy or the undercoating and spray em down, it slows down the rust process you can get it just about anywhere, wal-mart etc. Its a nice soild truck, The paint looks new you guys got a super deal on it. I love s-10s :)

I wouldnt lower it, I'd keep it just the way it is and drive it :cool:
