Use a tape measure. The best way is to get a piece of construction paper and cut it out and place on the fender. When you have it the way you want it trace it with a marker and cut away. I use a utility knife and take your time.

Hey Carl_yfz
Nice job on that front nose piece! Looks sweet! More air flow keeps motor cooler = more horsepower.

That looks like the custom car grill material pepboys sells. You can get that stuff at like homedepot too bt it's not nice and shiney like that.;)

O and whoever said it, I still am amazed you managed to cut your plastics with a razor blade:eek2:

Using a razor blade is the cleanest way and you start out by just cutting a little at a time (deeper and deeper till you are through.

This is my attempt at the Kory Ellis cut.

It's like Grillcraft. It is car grill for aftermarket bumpers. I taped the nose piece and draw the lines , then , I heated up my plastic just a little so it would be nice and soft and took a zip-gun(air powered) and cut the nose with that. Took a basic shaped of spare grill I had and molded it to fit the angles in the plastic. Then I took the new grill and bended it into shape. Drilled two holes in the sides of the nose and put screw in it. It holds the grill with rectangular shape washers. It is so strong that you can push on the grill and you see the fenders move.

More air, More power and More looks!

Myself, I think race cut looks terrible on YFZ's, but if I had to pick, I'd go Ellis style. :chinese:
