z400 question about the frames?

where are the spots where they crack alot? beacuse i was talking to a guy about his and he said paint is chipped by the welds but no cracks so help.....

I think one of the spots was right where the top of the shock is mounted.

I believe the new models have been fixed. After 2003 or something like that.

get a $200 guesset kit and you'll be fine. The 03's had the most issues and the 04's had a handful. Oh well, every machine has it's problems.

get yourself a nice gusset kit and some powder coat work and you will be good to go.
