Racing On A Budget??

ok im new to the Hare scramble type race and is an almost stock bike enough to start with?? just dont want to look completly stupid i guess. ordering a big guns rev box and 14t front sprocket but other then that just whats in sig

any suggestions would help oh im just 21 also

your EX is an 05 right? you need a 13t sprocket to lower your gearing, stock is a 14. but for what you need, just some tires and skidplates like have already been suggested.

Yeh, Stock tires wouldnt hold up too well in that kinda ridin. Im from southern Illinois and am also looking to start racing some cross country this summer hopefully.

well glad im not they only one getting started, thought bout some Razr2 or holeshots and thought stock sprocket on an 05 was a 15 like they others my bad

personally i would get a set of peps or axis on there atleast on the front the back shocks you can adjust pretty nice but front shocks in the woods are very nice
