I have a 2004 Suzuki LT 50. Starts, runs, idles great but I get a small amount out of the overflow when the kids are riding around the yard. Anyone else have this problem? Or is it common? I thought maybe a bad float but the way it runs I think that they wouldnt be a problem.

could be a small amount of trash keeping the needle off of the seat, I've seen it. Might just be your issue as well. Bill

this one was twisted off to the side when it was leaking, straightened it and it leaked less. I thought i would ask first because it looks like a small chore to get it out of there.

Did you get it fully figured out yet? I noticed my neighbor's LT50 was pouring a pretty solid stream out of its overflow as well. Sounds like this may be a pretty common issue... Hopefully my son's KFX50 continues to hang in there.:ermm:

Pulled the carb out and took it all apart and cleaned everything. I'm thinking the needle and seat had some dirt in it and it was over filling the bowl. To get at it you don't have to remove the carb, its built into the brass fitting the fuel line hooks up to. Just unscrew it out of the carb.

Thanks, I'll pass that info on to my neighbor. That sounds a lot easier than pulling the carb:D
