Spark Plug

This mite be a realy stupid question but im having alot of trouble replacing the spark plug i can get in there but i cant see in there and can't see if im on it or not. any suggestions.

I use the socket and short extention (without the ratchet) to get it started. Move it around a bit to let it kind of let it find it's place. Turn gently at first being careful not to cross thread it.
