Hey all

Im buying a z with a motion pro twist throttle that came with a kiehin carb and i was wanting to convert it back to a thumb throttle. Is there anywere to go to buy a different cable or whats the best way to convert back to the thumb?

you might be able to pull the twist throttle a part and hook the cable to a thumb throttle. i'm not sure but i dont see why you wouldnt be able to do that

wont work, the twist throttle cable is alot longer than a thumb throttle cable.

check some companies, im sure they sell throttle kits.

I suggest you just watch ebay, I've seen them there from guys opting for twist throttle. Will be much more cost effective for you.

You won't be able to re-use the cable. Check z400central.com. I've seen a bunch of them for sale on there with cable.

If you have an fcr carb, You might look into running a honda throttle or a moose throttle they will pull easier. We sell a cable to make the honda throttle or the moose work on that carb
