I have a stock 400. What can I do to have an arm ripping low to midrang engine. I was thinking a 14 tooth sprocket and a pipe and jet kit. What pipe would give the most bottem end for a 400ex??? But not have and extravagantt amount of noise?? What do you guys think??:D :confused: :D

heres some things.http://209.120.142.52/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21407. I don't think you need a jet kit unless you get a new exhaust or k&n filter but bump up to a 42 pilot. Also don't buy a jet KIT buy seperate jets its much cheaper that way and your not getting a bunch of stuff you don't need.

If you want arm ripping low end by a raptor ha ha just kidding, Your best bet in buying a low end pipe like the HMF and also like you said droping a tooth in the front will help out also. I have a 14 and a 13 tooth sprocket for sale that I forgot to sell when I sold my 440EX.
let me know Pat

I just bought an HMF slip on, noticably more low-end rip than my previous, a Yosh., and I also put in a Sparks advance key...cheap mod that works well! And I still have my stock 15t front sprocket for now...wanna keep a little bit of speed. Alltogether, she runs real good now.

Thanks

If you want arm ripping power, you better buy the Turbo they make for the 400ex. That should give you the feeling you describe. I usually just rip my pants when I go riding.

if you want arm ripping power slap a Sparks X-6 full exhuast system on that and K&n and get some jets and get smallers tire and a 14 tooth sproket
