Need shock help!

I have a 2002 400ex. I am putting a set of front shocks off of a 450R. Do they bolt right up? I tried, but the top of the shock seems to rub on the top mount. I was wondering if they bolted right up or what I needed to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to grind a lil of the top of the shock off
theres a forum that tells you exactly wat you have to do

just grind a little off the top and a lil of the bottom and the bolt right on:D

You dont have to grind annything off of the 450r shocks to get them to bolt on a 400ex. Put top eye in first, then the bottom will fall right into place. It worked perfect on my 02 400ex
