i haven't bought an exhaust yet, cause i'm not sure exactly all that i need. if i put on a better exhaust slip-on(i've decided go with just a slip-on for now) do I HAVE to have a better airfilter??? i will eventually get one, but right now i just wanna get the silencer.

What he said. The stock one should get you by for the time being but it will help your performance if you go ahead and get an aftermarket.

u dont have 2 get one right now,but if i was u i would get a k&n filter an outerwear as soon as i could.after u get ur muffler an the new filter on it u will need 2 jet ur carb 2 get the max performance out of it an 2 keep from burning ur piston.

Some one just put a T-4 silencer on and it helped some.
You need to allow more air in along with bigger jets, to
get the full advantage out of your slip-on. I cut a hole in my lid,
threw in bigger jets along with a PC T-4 slip-on and the bike came alive !
To those who recommend after market air filters, what kind
perform well and keep the dust out? Are pro-design worth
anything?

I am not sure about Pro design, but K&N work well. I clean mine after every ride, I probably dont have to, but I do. K&N with a Outerware cover is a good setup

Will the K&N make a big difference over stock? Will the outerware
still keep the dust out? And is cleaning and oiling the K&N any
more of a pain than the stock.
