i recently replaced the oil seals on my 400ex on the clutch side and one on the inside said i was supposed to insert it wit the chamfered side in and im not sure if i did that or not. why does it need the chamfered side in just to hold the oil seal in place? and the unchamfered edge seemed no sharper.
