Ford doesn't make a supercab 4WD Lightning, so I made my own via a little help from an
intercooled ATI Procharger system teehee :D

I have 285/60 - 18's on mine in those pics. They stick out just the perfect amount without going overboard.

Stock 265/70 - 17's in the winter

yes the typoons and the syclones are fu*king insane! But after 100mph they fall flat on there face for some reason, as for the ford lightnings, It is my dream car!!!!!!I love the fact I can go to home depot pick up a bunch of plywood and **** and still put a whooping on a stang, camaro, etc etc on my way home!

Its a simple 94 GMC 1/2 ton Sierra 350 V-8, but its an automatic dang it. They run great and will last forever, mine just hit the 230,000 mile mark i believe it was, and never done anything really to it but just recently put a fuel pump in it.

I went with the ATI centrifugal blower over a roots/screw type for several reasons. It is more efficient due to the intercooler. When air is compressed by any supercharger, the byproduct is heat. Other aftermarket blowers are not intercooled and essentially blow hot air down the intake as contrasted by the cold, dense air charge in an intercooled system. This allows for higher boost levels without having predetonation problems (which means more power).

The centrifugal also takes less power to drive it than others due to its small size; this results in less parasitic power loss.

It is also easier on the motor since the boost does not come on as early in the rpm range like on a roots/screw blower. They tend to have a rapid onset of power that shocks and stresses the drivetrain if you launch it hard from a stop. The boost in the ATI does not come on until around 2,800 rpm, so anything below that is strictly enonomy. So I can be driving it around like a normal truck and saving fuel, the other blowers dont let you do that. Once it hits 3,000 rpm in any gear though, I'm gone. Just like a hit of nitrous, that extra 100+ HP really kicks you back. It acts just like a turbo; the higher the rpm, the more power it makes. The power will start to drop off in the other blowers.
