Well after searching all over and only finding one or two places that have any type of aftermarket parts for my sons Lem cayman(99), let alone trying to find factory replacement parts anymore with their distributor problems, I am thinking about changing to a different machine.. He just turned 7, and wants to get started in mx and harescrambles so looking for something than can be easily modded.. I dont have the buget for a new cobra or i know that would be top choice.. Just want something that can be made semi competative for a reasonable budget.. Thanks for any tips..

If you can't get a cobra then you should probly get a drr I have heard great things about these quads

Check out the DRX 50 DRR Homepage (http://www.drrinc.com/) I would say these are the hottest quad in the 50 limited mx class right now.

I don't know if he still sells them but I bought my son's DRR from Lawn Care Equipment Center, 726 Gristmill Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522 - Phone: (717) 445-4541. Looks like that may be a homerun for you if he still sells them. You can also contact
DRR (http://www.drrinc.com/) and they will tell you who the closest dealer is to you.

Took a ride down there, He didnt have any in stock but I have one on reserve on his next shipment, (black DRX). They are very nice to deal with and he gave me a price that is lower than anywhere else I found them.. Thanks for the Info!

imo the most "aftermarket friendly" 50 is the kasea skyhawk 50.
