I can get a good price on the Kenda Klaws mx (20" front, 18" rear)

I ride alot of trails as well as tracks most the trails i do are hard packed and pretty flat also the Kenda are 4ply's so i figure they will stand pretty good against puncture

The question is will the ground clearence be a hassle ??? anybody use those size tires in alot of trails

THANKS

What are you riding? If you have like a 300ex or Warrior, forget about 18's and trails, they already have low swinger clearance to begin with, i don't think it'd be a good idea to have those on trails. A 400 or something like that, would probably work descent, but if you ride trails, get 20's imo.

i ride trails with my 18's. It is fine if you just pay attention and steer your rear end around any big rocks or anything else sticking up.

it depends on what trails you ride on.....i was riding yesterday and i saddle bagged the 300(i have 20s on it). Its ok you just have to pay attention to rocks and stuff like the guy before me said. I wouldnt recomend the 18s. Go 21" in the front and 20" in the back.
