The things they think of!!

You will never have to worry about Parallel parking again.

"Another feature that elicited wows from the audience was a system that would allow the car to actually park itself. You simply pull up to a parking space and place the Intelligent Park Assist system into self-park mode. After that, all you have to do is keep your foot lightly on the brake pedal. The car will do the rest, automatically steering into the space for a perfect park each time".

i dont trust any of those damn sensors! my dads buick rendevous has those reverse sensors that tell you when you just close enough to stuff when back into places, they dont work at all!

we were backing into a parking lot the one day, and the first beep chimed, letting us know that we were almost close enough, then the second beeb, and then CRASH! we ran right into the back of the parked suburban behind us! and then what do you know? the third beeb chimes letting us know we were safe to stop moving!

almost comical if you ask me

some technology just isnt ready yet, auto park is one of them

heh... i think lexus puts a little better quality things in their cars thana buick would. Seeing how the lexus will be coming out anywhere from 60-80,000 Canadian.

Having had a family that has owned several generations of Lexuses, I believe in the system. They would never go public with it unless it was proven and trouble-free.
They have reputation to uphold after all...

Yeah, just like every other innovation that comes out. Who needs EFI, fuel injectors, Mass air sensors, and all that mess, carbs do just fine, just another thing to break

You gotta start somewhere ;)
