loud pipe?

ok i have the fmf powercore 4 for my 300ex and i might be riding on MI state trails i think the db for MI is 96 not sure though,is my pipe going to be louder then that if so how much power would i loose by putting a quit core in it , or would a smaller end cap work better. thanx any info will be a help

my cousin has one on his predator and its over 96 db's. He got stopped once on the wisconsin trails and wasnt legal. He doesnt have to quiet core either. I think the predator is louder than the 300ex though to start off with.

It's better to be safe than sorry up there. I'd loose a pony or two and be able to ride rather than be caught and end up being the camera man all day.

DNR usualy just give a woarning. i go past dnr on the side of the trails and im running 120+dbs and no spark arrestor. dnr never stop me.

a 8 inch pipe coming off the header... very loud..

if any of you people tried running know muffler and heard how loud it is well mines about 1 0r 2 dbs less than that. and the thing about it is it some how still has good bottom end
